Job summary

Allied Universal in Sparks, NV is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Observation to protect client sites across utilities and other industries. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will drive to locations, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a night schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and utility customers while following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
