Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Route Inspection to protect a commercial property. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, monitor access points, and conduct regular patrols to deter incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, age 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and passing background and drug screenings. The position offers paid training, scheduling options, and access to benefits.

Qualifications

• Conduct site-specific security procedures and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence at the location while communicating clearly with property representatives, tenants, and emergency responders as needed.
