Job summary

DM Burr is hiring a Full Time Custodial Floater to cover 1st and 2nd shifts across Oak Park School District. The role travels between buildings, and you must have your own vehicle to drive. Wage is $18.25 per hour with DailyPay available.

Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, operating floor equipment, restocking restrooms, and event setup. Requirements include 1–6 months custodial experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a background check and lift up

Qualifications

1-6 months custodial/janitorial experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Must have valid driver’s license and your own vehicle for transportation.
Flexible availability.

Responsibilities

Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility.
Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
Operate floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums.
Empty trash receptacles.
General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls.
Stocking restrooms, janitorial closets and break rooms.
Setting up and cleaning up after scheduled events.
Light building maintenance.
General snow removal/lawn care as needed.
Ability to drive to more than one building in a work day.
