Job summary

The Anchorage School District seeks a Mobile Cafeteria Manager II to oversee kitchen operations, inventories, and staff across multiple school sites. You will ensure meals meet schedules, supervise staff, and maintain food safety and NSLP compliance while traveling between locations as needed.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in large-scale food service, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Valid Alaska driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of related work may substitute.
• Three years of experience in a large-scale food service operation including food safety.
• One year of supervisory experience with staff scheduling and direction.
• Cashiering experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Manage food and supply inventories, orders, and records.
• Ensure meals are prepared on schedule for the student population.
• Monitor HACCP temperatures and food safety compliance.
• Direct cafeteria staff and assign tasks to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain NSLP compliance and accurate records at point of sale.
