Job summary

Jayco Inc is seeking a mobile RV technician to travel to dealerships and customer locations across the region to perform installation, operation, diagnostics, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of Jayco products.

The role requires inspecting components, diagnosing issues, and documenting service history while training junior technicians and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Retail RV service background preferred.
• Have a valid CDL or is willing to obtain a CDL.
• Knowledge of RV design and construction processes including RV codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Travel to dealerships and client locations to perform installation, operation, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance of RVs.
• Interact with retail customers and dealer personnel, provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts replaced, maintenance schedules and service history.
• Provide training to apprentices/lesser skilled technicians by working with Foremen.
• Conduct safety inspections and diagnose a range of RV components (appliances, chassis, electrical, electronics, slide outs).
