Job summary

Accel Entertainment, Inc. seeks a dependable Collection Technician to execute daily route-based cash collection, RT replenishment, and related duties at contracted locations in Illinois.

You will drive company vehicles, manage cassettes and reconciliations, and ensure accurate cash movement while upholding safety and customer service standards. Requirements include a valid driver's license, ability to obtain an Illinois Terminal Handler license, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce,

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and Outlook.
• Flexible and willing to work long hours, weekends; overtime as needed.
• Commitment to reliability for scheduled shifts and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain an exceptional customer experience with location staff and patrons
• Be timely and punctual for both work and route schedule
• Communicate and maintain proper equipment needs for route teams and collection vans
• Deliver and collect cassettes/cans to and from customer locations per the assigned route schedule
• Unload and deliver cassettes/cans to processing room following route
• Drive efficiently and effectively during scheduled routes
• Assist with additional replenishments (RT or ATM), VGT collections, or other cash items
• Knowledge of working components of equipment (VGTs, RTs, ATMs, Amusement devices)
• Communicate issues to leadership and suggest route improvements
• Organize warehouse space and prep needs for next day routes
• Assist with Fleet Needs for Collection Vehicles
• Lend support to other Collection Regions as needed
• Other duties as assigned to meet operational needs
