Qualifications

• 2–4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Specialized training in repair and replacement of vehicle components preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.
• Current CDL license with air brake certification required; US domicile.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in repair and diagnosis of engines, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, and brake systems.
• Perform mechanical and appearance reconditioning of equipment for trade-ins and delivery readiness.
• Identify required parts and perform all levels of preventive maintenance.
• Drive and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain safe, clean on-site work area and adhere to Penske safety policies.
• Serve as primary customer contact and coordinate with sales/operations management.
