Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed mobile patrol at a retail site in Seattle, WA. You will provide security, perform patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Day and evening shifts are available, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required according to policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff following procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, storefronts, parking areas and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and hazards.
• Maintain daily activity reports and incident documentation with management and responders.
