Job summary

Accendra Health in northern New Jersey seeks a Respiratory Therapist to perform home visits, set up oxygen and ventilation equipment, and educate patients and caregivers. You will document care and coordinate with physicians and case managers to ensure smooth transitions.

Role requires NJ RT licensure, ability to lift 10–50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. On-site schedule 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with regional travel across northern NJ.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active NJ RT license.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and assist with equipment handling.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns when needed.
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and branch teams.
