Job summary

Watco is seeking a Signal Maintainer to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and install railroad signal and crossing systems as part of a mobile crew. You will travel to various sites to support safe operation and reliability of equipment.

The role requires reading plans, following safety procedures, and collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and electronic components across diverse environments. A valid driver’s license is required; high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in railroad signal maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics.
• Must be dependable with a strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install railroad signal and crossing systems.
• Work as part of a mobile maintenance crew across multiple locations.
• Follow safety procedures and railroad operating rules.
