Job summary

Principle Health Systems seeks a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using portable equipment across multiple sites within the Houston territory. The role involves travel to skilled facilities, long-term care, rehab hospitals, and patient homes, delivering high-quality images with patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include safely operating equipment, positioning patients, and maintaining infection control while documenting results and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• LMRT or ARRT certification with completed internship.
• Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Mobile imaging experience preferred.
• Proficient operation of portable radiographic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images per protocols.
• Safely transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at various sites.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure proper positioning and safety.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure when not imaging.
• Coordinate with staff to assist patients with limited mobility; direct handling not required.
• Perform EKGs, follow infection control procedures, and document records.
• Calibrate equipment and assist with radiographic interpretation as needed.
• Ensure sterilization, storage, and routine maintenance of equipment; report issues.
• Log imaging results per company protocols and safely operate a vehicle.
