Required LMRT or ARRT certification program, internships with hands-on clinical experience, and a valid state radiology license where applicable.

Responsibilities

Operate portable radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images per protocols.
Safely transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at diverse locations.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure correct positioning for imaging.
Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure during procedures.
Coordinate with facility staff to assist patients with limited mobility.
Perform EKGs, follow infection control procedures, and document records.
Calibrate radiographic equipment and assist with image interpretation as needed.
Maintain sterilization, storage and routine maintenance of equipment.
Log imaging results according to company protocols.
Safely operate a motor vehicle for mobile imaging assignments.
