Job summary

Principle Health Systems seeks a Travel Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services across Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas using mobile radiographic equipment. The role requires ARRT credentialing, state licensure (if applicable), and the ability to travel extensively.

You will work with various facilities, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining safety standards. A company vehicle, imaging gear, and gas card are provided along with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Earned a degree from an ARRT program with hands-on clinical internship.
• ARRT certification exams completed or scheduled within required timeframe.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Valid state radiology license (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Safely transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at varied locations.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for imaging exams.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure during procedures.
• Coordinate with facility staff to ensure proper patient alignment.
• Perform EKG examinations and adhere to infection control procedures.
• Document patient records during and after procedures.
• Calibrate radiographic equipment and assist in interpreting radiographs.
• Maintain sterilization, storage, and routine maintenance of radiographic equipment.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle.
