Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate portable radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images per imaging protocols.
• Safely transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at various locations.
• Explain procedures to patients ensuring correct positioning and safety.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Coordinate with staff to position patients with limited mobility.
• Perform EKGs and follow infection control procedures.
• Document patient records during and after procedures.
• Calibrate radiographic equipment and assist in interpreting images.
• Ensure sterilization, storage, and maintenance of radiographic equipment.
