Job summary

Prava Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one outpatient physical therapy services in patients' homes. This role offers a slow-build caseload growth and scheduling flexibility as referrals increase.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license required.
• Graduate of accredited PTA program.
• Home health experience preferred; other settings considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under licensed PT supervision.
• Implement individualized treatment programs to improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, gait and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OT, SLP and caregivers.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Manage a flexible home visit schedule across the service area.
