Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile Commercial Plumber to support multiple client sites by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing and distribution systems. You will travel between locations with a company vehicle on a Monday–Friday day shift, with overtime available as needed.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience; a Journeyman plumbing certification is preferred.

  • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and distribution systems.

  • Assist staff or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
  • Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
  • Provide training to staff for light plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Respond to emergency situations and report hazards as required.

About The Role

As a CBRE Plumber, you will support multiple client sites by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems.

As a CBRE Plumber, you will support multiple client sites by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems. This is a Monday–Friday day shift role with overtime available as needed. You’ll travel between locations, with a company provided vehicle, to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently, providing high quality service in a fast paced, customer focused environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
  • Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
  • Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
  • Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
  • Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
  • Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
  • Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
  • Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
  • Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile Commercial Plumber position is $28.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mobile Commercial Plumber position is $32.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
