DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors serving military service members in Texas, primarily on weekends with some weekday coverage as needed. Supervising physician requirements vary by state; Texas license and CPR/BLS are required.

You will review histories and records, interview personnel, and document results for readiness classification using a proprietary system. Travel to remote military installations may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Texas, CPR/BLS certified.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health is preferred.
• Able to travel and work weekends.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Responsabilités

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
