Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to partner as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military service members in Texas.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the state on an as-needed basis. Roles involve reviewing records, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications. Background checks and E-Verify are part of the process; travel to remote military installations is required.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state
• CPR/BLS Certification required
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred
• Willing to travel and work weekends; able to work in various locations including remote military installations

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
