Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors serving military personnel. Primarily weekend work with some weekdays in Georgia on an as-needed basis, supporting readiness assessments and documentation across mobile clinics and fixed deployments.

Active PA license in the relevant state, CPR/BLS, and experience in primary care, urgent care, or occupational health are preferred. Candidates should be adaptable, travel-ready, and comfortable with varied locations including

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
CPR/BLS Certification.
Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred.
Experience with mobile medical services - preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high daily patient volumes.
Able to work extended hours.
Able to travel, with weekend availability - preferred.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
