Job summary

OneBlood in the United States is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and collection procedures for whole blood and components from donors in line with FDA and AABB standards.

You will obtain donor history and vitals, maintain safety and customer service, and support donor recruitment efforts. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required; HS diploma accepted.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors.
