Cape Cod Healthcare seeks a Patient Service Technician to collect laboratory specimens and provide excellent front-line service across our laboratory sites. You will perform venipuncture and related sample collection, enter orders in the LIS, and ensure proper patient and specimen data for accurate testing.

The role requires basic phlebotomy training, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. You will rotate across sites and support mobile phlebotomy and nursing home collections as

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic phlebotomy knowledge or training required.
• Valid driver’s license upon hire; Massachusetts license within 60 days if applicable.
• MVR criteria may apply for driving record.

Responsabilités

• Collect venipuncture, finger, and heel samples from patients.
• Register patient information in the LIS; ensure accurate data for billing.
• Enter physician orders and manage specimen workflows across multiple sites.
• Maintain phlebotomy areas, stock rooms and safety in all drawing rooms.
• Provide front-line customer service and communicate with patients, clients and staff.
