Job summary

Labcorp in New Jersey is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service teams at Newark and Glenridge. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across all age groups and prepare specimens for testing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of phlebotomy experience (3+ preferred), and excellent customer service with strong communication. Travel between sites is required; pay ranges from $17.75 to $24.00 per hour. Overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
