Job summary

eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform biometric screenings at client sites in San Antonio, TX. This PRN role offers event-based scheduling and competitive pay.

You will collect blood samples, record results, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining safety and professional standards for health screenings across local companies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National Phlebotomy certification or completed program with hands-on externship.
• Active state phlebotomy certification for NV, CA, WA, and LA if performing phlebotomy.
• 1 year health screening or phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record biometric testing: height, weight, BP, BMI, and more.
• Blood draws via fingerstick and venipuncture in fast-paced environments.
• Prepare specimens for storage or processing.
• Set up and break down portable blood draw stations.
• Transport supplies to events (up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs for laboratory transactions per regulations.
• Must have morning availability (Mon–Fri) for event-based work.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN

About The Role

These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of those companies.

What Would Make You Successful in This Role?

Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to, height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday–Friday) for event-based employment
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health–approved organization OR one of the following:

• Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands‑on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months

• Active state-specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA

Experience

• One (1) year of health screening or phlebotomy experience preferred
