Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to provide on-site specimen collection at client facilities, primarily nursing homes. You will drive to routes, identify patients, collect labeled specimens, and ensure prompt delivery while upholding universal precautions and safety standards.

You must maintain required phlebotomy credentials, carry a valid driver’s license, and keep meticulous records. Regular mobility in a mobile lab setting with safety-first protocols is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid state phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a current, valid state driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using vacutainer and syringe techniques.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and sterile techniques.
• Able to maintain clean, safe work environment and adhere to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed by dispatcher.
• Collect specimens at patient bedside, ensuring proper identification and labeling.
• Process and deliver specimens to the lab in a timely manner.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, report inventory and stock levels.
• Keep time records and manage assigned shift including breaks.
