Job summary

Trident Care in Worcester, MA is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to provide on-site pre-analytical laboratory services at client facilities, primarily nursing homes. You will collect specimens at patient bedsides, ensure proper patient identification, label and process samples, and deliver them promptly while maintaining safety and universal precautions.

Responsibilities include driving to facilities, maintaining records, stocking supplies, and adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; a vehicle in good working condition.

Responsibilities

Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed by dispatcher.
Unload phlebotomy tray and collect samples at patient’s bedside.
Identify patient before collecting specimens and properly label/deliver samples.
Reload equipment and supplies for prompt delivery.
Communicate status with dispatcher and maintain records per instructions.
Follow Universal Precautions and safety procedures at all times.
Maintain time records and assist with inventory and stock control.
Follow all specimen preservation and handling procedures as written.
