Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Complete requisitions accurately.
• Process and package specimens for transport; maintain records and documentation.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and manuals.
• Maintain collection logs and stock supplies.
• Submit expense forms on time and assist with inventories.
• Answer phones politely and communicate with clients, customers, coworkers and the public.
• Keep information confidential and report unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor.
