Job summary

The Health Alliance is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Homes to collect urine, oral fluid, and blood specimens from patients. You will perform collections accurately and on time while treating all customers courteously.

You will maintain collection logs, process specimens for transport, complete requisitions, and adhere to department policies and safety manuals. Strong communication, organization, and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Phleb).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Process and package specimens for transport.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Read, understand, and comply with policies and manuals.
• Maintain collection logs and inventory.
• Answer phones and communicate with clients professionally.
• Perform light clerical duties as assigned.
