TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Floater in Columbia, SC. The role requires drawing blood, preparing specimens, and ensuring accurate patient labeling across multiple sites.

You will interact directly with patients, maintain confidentiality, and travel as needed to cover patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations. The position emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to policies, with flexibility for weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; medical training preferred in some states.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel between sites and cover multiple locations.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain an atmosphere of trust.
• Perform verification of patient demographics and label tubes accurately.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Travel to doctor’s offices, patient service centers or at client sites as needed.
