Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Floater to cover multiple sites around Orlando, FL. You will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients to build trust and ensure accuracy.

Role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility to travel and cover shifts including Saturdays. Some sites may require phlebotomy certification; driving and a clean record are a must.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time at multiple sites.
• Maintain required records and documentation; verify patient demographics post-venipuncture.
