Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; medical training (MA/paramedic) may be considered.
• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, accurate venipuncture.
• Maintain records and handle patient information with confidentiality and accuracy.
• May be assigned to doctor’s office or patient service center based on needs.
