Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks a Mobile Clinical Research Phlebotomist to perform in-home visits, draw blood, collect specimens, and carry out study procedures per protocols.

You will travel to participant homes and work independently, providing a professional, patient-centered experience while supporting clinical research. The role requires phlebotomy certification, 1–2 years of experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean record; strong communication and the ability to document visits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience performing venipuncture on diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliability and ability to travel to homes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home visits with trial participants per schedule.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens per protocols.
• Process, label, and prepare specimens for shipment.
• Document procedures and visit details accurately.
• Maintain study protocol compliance and GCP guidance.
• Maintain chain of custody for specimens.
• Ensure participant safety, privacy, and comfort.
• Communicate with study coordinators and teams.
• Manage phlebotomy and specimen supplies.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
