Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Phlebotomy certification from a national body is required.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to participant homes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation systems.
• Must be able to travel to participant homes within the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home visits with study participants per schedule.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens per protocol.
• Process, label, and prepare specimens for shipment to labs.
• Document procedures and visit details accurately.
• Maintain compliance with GCP and study protocols.
• Maintain chain of custody for specimens.
• Ensure participant safety and comfort during visits.
• Communicate with coordinators and study teams as needed.
• Manage phlebotomy supplies and maintain infection control procedures.
