Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (21+).
• Clean criminal history as required for patient care roles.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities across Detroit, MI.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure correct labeling, transport, and sample integrity.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with lab and facility personnel.
