American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to service patients in the River Bend area, visiting homes, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Alton, IL. This role offers part-time, flexible schedules and requires compassionate patient care with accurate specimen collection.

You will travel to patient homes, perform venipuncture, verify identifications, and ensure proper labeling and transport of specimens while documenting interactions with laboratories and facilities.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Clean driving history and valid driver’s license; travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and facilities across Alton, IL to collect specimens.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection with accuracy.
• Verify patient ID, label specimens, and ensure transport integrity.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with lab and facility personnel.
