Job summary

American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to service Belvidere, IL, visiting patient homes and facilities with flexible, part-time scheduling. You will collect blood and ensure accurate labeling and transport, while delivering compassionate care to elderly patients.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and minimum age 21.
• Home Draws: minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience; additional credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations in Belvidere, IL.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identification, label specimens, and ensure transport integrity.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory and facility personnel.
