Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Home Draws: minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing must be completed prior to working on Home Draw team.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Belvidere, IL
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory and facility personnel
