HNL Lab Medicine in Allentown is seeking an adaptable Mobile Phlebotomist to perform venipunctures, collect specimens, and assist with patient registration and order entry under general supervision.

The role requires extensive travel to nursing homes and home draws, with on-call and holiday coverage. You will also mentor new staff and participate in ongoing improvement programs, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; bilingual may be required depending on service location.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required or provided if needed.

Responsabilités

• Performs venipunctures at HNL clients and home draw locations; explains collection procedures.
• Collects specimens, registers requisitions, and verifies billing information.
• Travels to nursing homes and home draw sites; conducts specimen processing per SOPs.
• Maintains inventory, records statistics, and supports customer inquiries.
• Provides on-call/mobile services and mentors new staff; adheres to safety protocols.
