Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks Health Screeners to join our team in Des Moines, IA, performing biometric screenings at local companies.

Knowledge of venipuncture or fingerstick is preferred, with the ability to follow safety and confidentiality guidelines. These as-needed, event-based roles offer morning availability (Mon–Fri), flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and competitive pay between $27 and $32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• National phlebotomy certification or approved program certification with hands-on externship.
• Over 100 fingersticks in last year or 200 venipunctures in last 6 months.
• Active state phlebotomy certification required for NV, CA, WA, LA.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record biometric testing results (height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, BMI).
• Blood testing including fingerstick and venipuncture in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare specimens for storage or processing.
• Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric stations.
• May transport supplies to events (lifting up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs for all laboratory transactions per requirements.
• Must have morning availability (Mon-Fri) for event-based employment.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
