Job summary

eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, is seeking Bilingual Spanish Health Screeners for event-based biometric screenings in Dewitt, IA. Roles involve traveling to local companies to perform health screenings for employees, with competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Candidates should have strong customer service, phlebotomy experience or certification, and the ability to pass a background check. Morning availability Monday–Friday is required for on-site events.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Active phlebotomy certification from a Premise Health approved org or valid state cert (NV/CA/WA/LA needed for phlebotomy).
• 100+ finger sticks in last year or 200+ venipunctures in 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record biometric testing (height, weight, BP, body fat, BMI).
• Conduct fingerstick/venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced setting.
• Prepare specimens for storage or processing.
• Set up/break down portable biometric station(s).
• Transport supplies to events (up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs per regulatory requirements.

We are currently seeking Bilingual Spanish Health Screeners to join our team in Dewitt, IA.

eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for Mobile Phlebotomists and Health Screeners in your area.

About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful finger sticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

Experience:

• 1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Have outstanding customer service skills

• Possess a strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
