Job summary

Premise Health is seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Washington, D.C. These as-needed opportunities involve traveling to local companies to conduct on-site biometric screenings and health assessments.

Ideal candidates have venipuncture or fingerstick experience, strong customer service, and reliability. Morning availability for events is required, with competitive pay and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Current national Phlebotomy certification from Premise Health approved organization or equivalent.
• Certificate/Diploma from accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship.
• Over 100 fingersticks in the last year or 200 venipunctures in the last 6 months.
• Active state Phlebotomy certification required for NV, CA, WA, and LA.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric testing (height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, BMI).
• Blood testing via fingerstick and/or venipuncture in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare specimens for storage or processing.
• Set up and break down portable biometric stations.
• Transport supplies to events (lifting up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs for Laboratory transactions per regulations.
• Must have morning availability (Mon-Fri) for events.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
