American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to visit patient homes, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities across South Bend, IN, delivering quality laboratory services directly to patients who cannot come to us.

The role emphasizes independent work, compassionate patient care, and accurate specimen handling with secure documentation and clear communication with facilities and the lab.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across South Bend, IN
• Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel
