Job summary

American Health Associates, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our traveling team serving patients in the Poplar Bluff area. The role focuses on home visits to collect specimens and provide compassionate, professional care in a variety of settings.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, verify patient identity, document results, and coordinate with the lab while maintaining safety and quality standards. Independent scheduling and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory and facility staff.
