Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills; especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Clean criminal history; background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities across Springfield, IL.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure proper labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to patients and partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory personnel.
