Job summary
American Health Associates, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Jackson, TN, visiting patient homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and mileage reimbursement for travel between sites.
You will perform venipuncture and capillary collection, verify patient identity, label specimens accurately, and document results while delivering compassionate, professional care to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients
Responsibilities
- Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Jackson, Tennessee
- Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
- Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
- Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel
