Job summary

Principle Health Systems is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team in Overland Park, KS. The role involves drawing patient samples across routes, maintaining records, and delivering excellent service at assigned facilities.

The ideal candidate has venipuncture experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. This full-time position requires flexibility for nights and weekends and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within the Nursing Home/LTACH market.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and a thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for various tests.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Draw patient samples within assigned routes and schedules.
• Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed.
• Maintain regular contact with facilities and staff to ensure service satisfaction.
• Communicate current or potential customer issues; offer resolution suggestions.
• Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable face of PHS laboratory services.
• Document time and mileage; assist with insurance/billing information and reporting.
