Job summary

American Health Associates in Denver, CO is recruiting a Mobile Phlebotomist to visit patient homes, nursing and assisted living communities, and bring hospital-grade lab services directly to people who need them. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, verify patient identity, label specimens, and maintain clear communication with partners.

A phlebotomy certification and the ability to work independently with a flexible schedule are preferred, along with reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance (100/300/100), and minimum age 21.
• Clean criminal history; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
• Home Draws: minimum 3 years of phlebotomy work experience; additional credentialing may be required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
• Passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Denver, CO
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility personnel
