Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to support mobile donation operations under supervision. You will transport staff and supplies, perform donor screening and phlebotomy, and ensure a safe, positive donor experience.

You will follow DOT guidelines, maintain equipment, and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours required; CDL and related certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant people facing experience preferred
• Less than 1 year job-related experience required
• Must read and interpret SOPs and safety rules; attention to detail is essential
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail required
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Able to learn computer applications as required
• DL Number – Driver License, valid and in state required
• Cargo certification required

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van/Promaster and safely transports staff, supplies and equipment.
• Loads/unloads supplies and performs set up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control.
• Performs donor screening (donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers exceptional donor service and responds to inquiries and complaints professionally.
• May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima) and recruit donors for automation.
• Contributes to a positive team culture and supports coworkers.
• Maintains product integrity and proper donor identification; performs routine maintenance on equipment.
• Rebooks donors for future donation appointments.
• May be subject to background checks as required by sponsor.
• Performs other duties as required and adheres to regulatory/compliance requirements.
