Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is seeking a phlebotomy technician to perform blood collection for whole blood and apheresis products. You will interact with donors and coordinators to deliver a high level of service and ensure a safe, compliant donation experience.

The role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability, a valid CDL, and the ability to operate mobile drives while maintaining donor and equipment safety. Training and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant people-facing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with prior driving experience (required).
• Valid CDL with air brakes endorsement (B) required.
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures and safety rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile drive buses with valid CDL and DOT compliance.
• Perform phlebotomy and donor screening following procedures.
• Deliver high level of donor service and provide a positive donation experience.
• Prepare collection site and perform setup including technology systems.
• Rebook donors and coordinate with host sites as needed.
• Travel to additional local collection sites as required.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with policies.
