Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Illinois is seeking a Donor Driver Specialist to perform phlebotomy collection and support mobile donation drives. You will interact with donors and coordinators to ensure a high-quality donation experience, operate the mobile drive vehicle, and transport staff and supplies safely.

The role requires DOT-awareness with equipment setup, donor screening, and adherence to regulatory standards. Training provided with extensive shift patterns including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant people-facing experience preferred; less than 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mobile van/Promaster and transport staff and equipment safely.
• Load/unload supplies and set up at the mobile site, including technology systems.
• Perform donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Provide a service-centric donor experience with professional, empathetic care.
• Rebook donors for future appointments and maintain records as needed.
