Job summary

LIFELINE Blood Services is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform donor suitability, blood collection, and related procedures at mobile drives in Jackson, TN. You will assist with site setup, ensure donor safety, and transport samples as needed.

The role requires high school diploma, phlebotomy certification (preferred), CPR certification, and ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Prior healthcare experience is valued and training will be provided for site operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Phlebotomy certification preferred; CPR certification required.
• Prior phlebotomy training or relevant healthcare background preferred (EMT/EMS/RN/LPN/LVN).
• Must read, write and speak English; good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs donor suitability, histories and blood collection procedures.
• Ensures donor safety and safety, purity, and potency of the blood collected.
• Assists in setup/breakdown of the mobile site equipment.
• Performs regulated functions related to care of blood after collections, including storage and transportation.
• Completes required documentation.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information regarding donors.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service to donors and staff.
